About us

We are specialised in the management of Research and Innovation activities. Working with industrial partners, small companies and research organisations we facilitate the acquisition of public funding, the management of the projects and the development of their results.

Focus areas

We work primarily in the fields of energy and water but we have also applied our expertise in other fields including biotechnology, climate change, ICT and social sciences.

We can support your organisation in securing funding from European programmes, implementation of your project and utilising the results to develop final products for the market.

RED Heat-to-Power logo

The RED Heat-to-Power project adopts a game-changing approach that generates electricity from low-grade heat. This clean source of electricity is very flexible and can cover base or peak load at very competitive costs.

RED Heat-to-Power started in May 2015, is funded from the Horizon2020 programme and is coordinated by WIP-Renewable Energies.

REAPower logo

REAPower uses Reverse Ellectrodialysis (RED) to generate electricity from two solutions with different salt concentrations. The project established the first RED prototype to be generating electricity from brine in a real environment.

REAPower started in October 2010, is co-funded by the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission, and is coordinated by WIP-Renewable Energies.

IndustRE logo

IndustRE is developing business models that use the flexibility potential of the industrial electricity demand to facilitate further growth and integration of variable renewable energy.

IndustRE started in January 2015, is funded by the Horizon2020 programme and is coordinated by WIP-Renewable Energies.

CrowdFundRES logo

The CrowdFundRES project aims to contribute to the acceleration of the renewable energy growth in Europe by unleashing the potential of crowdfunding for financing renewable energy projects.

CrowdFfundRES started in February 2015, is funded by the Horizon2020 programme and is coordinated by WIP-Renewable Energies.
